Mô tả công việc 1) Business development: • Explore new business opportunities in Vietnam for seafood together with our team in Hong Kong • Search actively for suppliers who are already exporting to Europe • Find alternative suppliers for products we already export from other Asian countries • Responsible for monitoring market and competitors trends, and actively providing our team in Hong Kong and customers with relevant information and new business ideas. 2) Sourcing: • Responsible for screening all relevant seafood products in Vietnam and neighboring countries and actively searching for suitable suppliers and products. • Keep close relation with our team in Hong Kong and support them for all sourcing and order follow up activities for your products • Responsible for the organization, conduction and follow-up of customers’ buying trips in Vietnam. • Responsible for providing customers with all the necessary information which enables them to make order decisions (e.g. quotations, samples…). 3) Product and supplier management: • Responsible for selecting and managing an appropriate product portfolio and offering suitable products to the customers according to specific customers’ needs. • Responsible for negotiating best purchasing prices within the agreed quality standards. 4) Order management: • Responsible for ensuring and controlling the placement and shipment of customers’ orders with suppliers from order placement till shipment. • Responsible for ensuring on time shipment of the right goods, including all the necessary production and shipment control measures. 5) Quality assurance and control / other services: • Responsible for involving in-house and outsourced service providers, such as QC/QA, packaging, design, logistics etc. in all relevant processes and decisions and securing a communication flow between service departments, customers and suppliers. • Responsible for ensuring that all the necessary QA/QC-measures are carried out and a final product quality meets customers’ requirements in collaboration with in-house QC. 6) Planning and reporting: • Responsible for planning and reporting on relevant KPIs for the assigned product group. • Responsible for planning, managing and reporting the activities in accordance with the defined goals, budget and timescales. Yêu cầu công việc Mức độ phù hợp và xếp hạng của bạn so với ứng viên khác như thế nào? • Degree holder with 1-3 years merchandising/purchasing experience or experience in seafood industry, immediate availability is an advantage • Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint is a must • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese (mother language), additional skills in other languages are welcomed.
